Alexander J. Pappas, DPM, is triple board certified foot and ankle surgeon. He is double boarded by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and also boarded by The American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Alexander Pappas is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also a faculty member at the Oakhill Hospital Podiatric Residency Program. He has published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Podiatry Today, and is a reviewer for the medical journal, Foot and Ankle Specialist.
He is fellowship trained in advanced foot and ankle reconstruction. Dr. Pappas is well versed in the medical and surgical treatment of foot and ankle arthritis, fractures of the foot and ankle, foot and ankle tendon ruptures, ankle sprains, flat foot, heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, diabetic foot care, ingrown nails, and more.
Dr. Pappas attended undergraduate school at Tulane University. He then completed medical school at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. He completed his residency at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. Pappas rounded out his medical training with an ACFAS approved fellowship at Monongahela Valley, Pennsylvania for advanced foot and ankle reconstruction with The Orthopedic Group.
In his spare time he enjoys swing dancing, working out, and playing tennis.
He sees patients at his office locations in Hudson, Brooksville, and Lutz, Florida.
