Dr. Patrick Dermarkarian


NEW SPINE SURGEON SPECIALIZING IN MINIMALLY INVASIVE PROCEDURES.

Dr. Patrick Dermarkarian is a board-certified, fellowship- trained orthopaedic spine surgeon. He obtained his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, where he simultaneously earned his MBA at Brandeis University. He then completed his five-year residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of South Florida in conjunction with Tampa General Hospital, Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Moffitt Cancer Center, and Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.

He subsequently completed his fellowship training in spinal surgery at the prestigious University of California San Francisco, consistently ranked among the top neurosurgery and orthopaedic surgery centers in the country. While at UCSF, Dr. Dermarkarian trained under world- renowned orthopaedic spine surgeons and neurosurgeons in all aspects of spinal surgery. He is experienced and skilled in motion preservation surgery and minimally invasive procedures while being proficient in complex spinal deformities. With his training and experience, Dr. Dermarkarian is capable of and consistently provides personalized and patient-specific surgical solutions to all of his patients.

Dr. Dermarkarian is a Tampa native who attended Jesuit High School. He cherishes the time he is able to spend with his wife and three children. He is an avid soccer fan and enjoys playing golf and soccer in his free time
